For early wanderers who are excited to create their first itineraries like I was...
1. 99% of the time, you would not end up following your planned itinerary exactly.
For someone like me who loves to have things planned out to follow (exactly by time to time), I felt uneasy when I planned my first individual trip when nothing went right according to schedule. A couple of trips after, I realized that it doesn't really matter if things don't turn out to be the way it is planned. Especially when traveling, unexpected things happen and you just gotta roll with it. In the end, itineraries are just safety nets for you to make yourself feel prepared for your trip so that you can make the best out of the experience without worrying about what to do next.
2. There is no perfect itinerary, shape your own one.
Everyone's itinerary should be different. Don't shape your trip based off of someone else's trip, because your trip should revolve around your interests. Every time when I start my itinerary, I would always find multiple itineraries for suggestions, and later move things around based off of where I start my day, and how much I want to do for my day.
3. How I start off itineraries:
This wraps up my views on creating itineraries. Hope it can help those who needs a push in getting started in creating one for their trips to save some time from planning on the spot or getting lost!
